This life has been less and less eventful since moving here. I mean, I still get into tragicomic romantic entanglements, and I suppose my perpetual downward spiral is pretty fascinating. But, I am not setting the world on fire, to use my father's phrase, and I feel the loss poignantly.

For the record, I am starting this journal so I can make haikus about it.

OK, this is getting cut short already by a phone call summoning me out to law school bar night. May I get happily drunk, have good conversations and get laid one way or another(!)
